The path of my photographic equipment

The interest in photography started when I was in college.
I remember when I was wandering in the library that year, I suddenly saw a book about basic photography and felt that this was the direction I was interested in.
However, I was still too poor to buy any kind of camera and had to take pictures on my mobile phone.
But in my heart, I always dreamed of having a camera of my own.
When I graduated, I went to Hong Kong for a trip and let my parents buy the first DSLR Nikon D5000 set in the name of graduation gift.
Originally I wanted to buy Canon 450D, but Canon was too popular and the price was relatively expensive, so I bought Nikon instead.

I was so excited about the first DSLR, shooting everywhere.
But the dog len is really not enough, after looking up all kinds of information on the Internet, bought a Nikon 35/1.8G.

With this lens, it was "like a tiger with wings added".
Center focus and re-composition, a set of methods that lasted until 2021.
With more and more photos being taken, and more and more poisoned by all the articles on the Internet, I felt the entry-level camera was too restrictive.
Finally, in 2013, I sold the D5000 I had been using for two years and entered the mid-range APSC D7000.

Shoulder screen + more professional operation, which made me very satisfied.
But with only a 35 mm lens, I always felt like something was missing.
Therefore, in November, we commissioned people to bring back Tokina 116 wide-angle lens in Hong Kong.

As time went on, I am more addicted to the photography equipment, and the grass of the whole frame became taller and taller.
In 2015, I made up my mind to sell out all of the D7000 set.
Bought Nikon D750+Sigma 50/1.4+24-120.
It felt like this set would be the end of the road for my equipment.

In 2020, I became interested in film and got several sets of film equipment.

In 2020 also began to plant grass on the side axis, into the pseudo side axis Fuji X100F

In 2021, continue to enter the film machine Contax G1+G28

In fact, the D750 set is very satisfactory, because its operation, high sensation, or picture quality, are very good.
It also helped me through the five critical years of my life, with my child grown up.
However, in 2021 I suddenly feeled that the DSLR looked too ugly and the focus video is not as good as it should be in the big wave of no reflection cameras.
Said to go, a set of D750 in a month all sold, And bought the Sony epoch-making product A7M3.

In the end, I couldn't get rid of the constant memory of the side axle, so I entered the Leica Summicron 50/2, trying to experience the so-called "German taste".

Digital camera and lens are finally coming to an end. There will be no new ideas for at least 5 years.

But there was one piece of grass left in my heart: Leica's side-axis film machine.
However, currently the price of the Leica M system are incredibly increasing, M3, M4-P are more than 30% to 50% increase...

So I am still waiting for the final shot.
